E-Sport Pros Review WWI Build

Jul. 23 4:51 PM by Scott Pytlik

For anyone who isn't familiar with Team Liquid, they are a group of pro StarCraft gamers who have helped define the highest level of gaming now known as e-sports, or competitive gaming. A bunch of the members of TL attended the WWI in Paris, France and they have finally gotten around to writing their reviews about the current build of the game. You might think that since these guys are hardcore gamers their reviews would only appeal to players of similar style, but I found that players of any caliber seem to find them interesting and informative.

Give it a read HERE and let me know what you think in the comments of this post. I'm curious what everyone is thinking about the new Vespene Gas mechanic.

I'm also gonna post a link to another, extremely lengthier review by TL member Nyo, HERE. I'm warning you, it's ridiculously long, but it's good if you're bored at work or summer school ;)

i read the first 2.... from the sounds of it, the game is awesome.... but could use some fine tuning.... which is to be expected at this point...

Knowing how popular SC is as an eSports title, it's only natural that current eSports gamers would look at the sequel with a critical eye. It's nice to know that they see much in the game that will be worth spending time on. Let's hope to see some killer SC II tournaments in 2009. A girl can hope, can't she?
