Yesterday Karune, the Blizzard community manager, announced on the Battle.net forums that he will be taking fan's requests for an upcoming batch of screenshots to be included with the next Q&A update. Within one minute and twenty-five seconds of Karune's post the responses started pouring in and OMGStarCraft is going to weigh in on the topic as well. Too many times the Q&A's have been posted without accompanying screenshots leaving fans with only a few brief words to describe brand new units and abilities. We say, no more!
So here are OMG StarCraft's top 5 screenshot scenarios we'd like to see for Q&A batch #32...
5. A Terran base with auto turrets and mine drone structures constructed using a Nomad while a group of Protoss Zealots or Zerglings charge in unsuspecting and get slaughtered.
4. A Terran choke point guarded by Crucio Siege Tanks, bunkers and supply depots lifted off of the ground by the Protoss Nullifier's levitate ability and blown to smithereens by a mixture of Carriers and Warp Rays. Most important of all is having the supply depots in there; I want to see what if anything the underground part of the depot looks like when lifted off the ground.
2. A few Terran Jackals laying into a group of Zerglings with their linear splash damage rail gun. Fans definitely need to get a glimpse of this new vehicle and preferably we could get the shot on some new terrain close to a Zerg base so we could get a look at the Zerg creep.
1. THE ZERG! For god's sake the Zerg! I think one person on the forum said it the best by saying just line up all of the units side by side and take the shot. I'm not calling for that, but at least give us a good shot of a Zerg base with creep spreading, buildings mutating, Hydralisks spitting, Overlords hovering, Drones gathering, and some Ultralisks rampaging all over the place.
3. A group of Terran Marines, Medics, Reapers and Marauders being attacked by Zealots or Zerglings on a terrain we have yet to see like Char or a planet with snow. Not only is the shot of the Marauders crucial but some new terrain would be nice as well.
If you've got any other good ideas for screenshots make sure you leave them in the comments and we'll see if Karune and Blizzard can accommodate.
Comments
They are being incredibly tight with what zerg information they release, and with good reason - they still have quite a ways to go before the game launches, so its best to save your juiciest hype fodder for last.
You're right, but here's to hoping
